Intellectual Property Legal Assistant Candidate will provide administrative support, including preparing and filing U.S. patent applications, effectively manage dockets of assigned attorneys and/or patent agents, report correspondence accurately and timely and maintain accurate paper and electronic files in accordance with firm/practice group guidelines and procedures. Will also provide standard administrative duties, including filing, document reproduction, opening new client/matters with conflict searches, maintaining client files, time entry using time sheets and computer based billing system, maintaining email and calendar, and word processing.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must have 3+ years of experience with patent prosecution and have excellent command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint. Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus. Must have strong attention to detail, good analytical and problem solving skills, project management skills and the capability to organize, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
