Assistant Attorney General - Criminal Appeals The candidate represents the People in criminal and quasi-criminal matters at all levels of the state and federal court systems. Will have considerable autonomy in briefing cases under the guidance of supervising attorneys and participate in moot courts to prepare for oral arguments. May expect to present an oral argument within one year. Must have an interest in criminal and constitutional law and strong research and writing skills. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience. Must have a license in Illinois at the time of application.
