Paralegal or IP Legal Assistant
The candidate will be working closely with seasoned IP Paralegals and assistants to learn the various aspects of Advent’s business. The candidate will prepare assignments, declarations, information disclosure statements, and shell intellectual property documents for final review and filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The candidate will correspond with clients and foreign associates on various matters. The candidate will also perform docketing functions for domestic and foreign deadlines. Should have associate's degree and/or relevant experience in the legal industry; Must have strong oral and written communication skills; Should have experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and the desire to learn other business, legal, and client specific software.
