Legal Specialist - Commercial Transactions The candidate will provide professional legal support by assisting supervising attorneys in all areas of commercial transactions, including managing contracts from negotiation through implementation, maintaining accurate and complete file documentation. On an ongoing basis, will draft and negotiate both standard and non-standard contracts. As needed, the Provide support in connection with the management of special projects and other department or company initiatives. Drafting, analyzing, interpreting and negotiating a variety of contracts including NDAs, services agreements, technology agreements, contracts for the purchase of goods and services, statements of work, and contract amendments. Identify legal and potential business issues in contract matters and work with internal business clients to develop a negotiation strategy. Update and manage contract templates and contracts database. Manage contract review intake process. Conduct legal research and summarize laws, cases and other regulations as requested. Management of special projects or other department or company initiatives. Position reports to Corporate Counsel, Senior Corporate Counsel, Assistant General Counsel or Associate General.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Must have Paralegal certificate. Must have 5 years of experience. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Experience in a corporate legal environment is preferred. 7+ years in contract administration is preferred. Experience with technology vendor agreements is preferred. Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills with a comprehensive knowledge of standard contract terms (e.g., indemnification, warranty, limitation of liability, etc.) is required. Skilled in Microsoft Office and other computer-based programs is required.

Pros : i work at Home Depot for 9 years start as a door checker then move to inside/outside garden 1 year latter move to hardware then back to inside/outside Garden employer/employee after you are hire you go to a room and watch a video on which department you are assign to after the video there is a test on how good you listen to it
Cons : Home Depot is a good company to work at in the short term but long term it is not a good place to work at if you want job securitry management is not always honest to its Employees they will write you up for any reason so they can move up the ladder whale we stay where we are everything ilearn there i learn on my owned with no help from anybody
