Profile

Legal Administrative Assistant
The candidate will join Commercial Litigation practice.Will organize and maintain filing and retrieval systems. Manage calendars, organize and schedule external and internal meetings, teleconferences, networking events, etc., maintain diary for court dates and follow-up. Open, maintain and close client files. Handle extensive client contact, both via phone, email, and in-person. E-filing in various courts and jurisdictions. Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents. Track Expense reports. Organize travel.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have law firm experience and be technology proficient (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook) with strong attention to detail and ability to turn work around in an efficient manner with minimal errors, experience with maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings and travel, strong communication skills and ability to manage the attorney assignment with a proactive approach balancing the needs of all. Should have knowledge of commercial litigation, litigation documents, e-filing, court rules and procedures. Should have strong production skills with ability to produce accurate work product when transcribing tapes, formatting documents, inputting data, editing, copying, scanning and transmitting text, data and graphics. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in grammar and spelling. Should have excellent client service skills with proven record of building effective relationships with both internal and external clients. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Office 2017 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet research skills, document management systems, attorney time entry software.

Stop making titles and jobs for people. There are stoo many chiefs for the little Indians. Start listening to the Indians some Had good ideas but because they stepped on the toes of department managers no one listened.

Pros : Maybe the pay and benefits
Cons : Management especially with the management committee! They only listen to certain attorneys and support staff! If you aren’t part of the good old boys club then you aren’t anybody! As a woman that doesn’t suck ass you are nobody! They just buy up small firms to make themselves look gigantic. Then little by little they dismember the employees they brought over with those firms.
