Legal Administrator The candidate will be responsible for providing daily consultative assistance to the department’s property manager and the Chief Surveyor in collaboration with the department’s real estate attorney. Will be drafting real property documents for the purchase or sale of department property, preparing and/or reviewing title work, paralegal support for the department’s developer projects and general paralegal support for the Title Office. Must have strong real property background and highly proficient at drafting closing documents and other real estate transactional documents, and is experienced with performing title abstracting. Substantial real estate transactional experience, title abstracting experience, and the ability to understand and read plans is a plus. Must have a Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm, court, or legal services agency - or - an equivalent combination of education and experience.
