Ethics and Compliance Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for administration and implementation of firm's legal training program and will provide support for various other Ethics and Compliance initiatives. Will manage operation of firm's Legal training programs and policy certifications. Maintain training schedule, recommend annual training topics and courses, and customize content where necessary. Partner with external and internal resources to develop custom training materials as needed. Design and sequence campaigns on the LRN training platform. Develop and maintain process to identify employee issues and questions raised during the certification process and coordinate follow-up with appropriate employees. Develop and maintain process to increase employee completion rates. Support local training administrators at firm's businesses, including responding to technical questions, generating reports, updating administrator training manual, increasing employee completion rates. Serve as local training administrator for firm's Corporate employees. Support firm's global employees to ensure completion of assigned Legal training. Maintain record of training provided by firm's Legal Department employees.Support investigators and site administrators in day-to-day operation of EthicsPoint case management system, including responding to technical questions, overseeing process for intake, assignment and closure of cases, ensuring proper case classification, inputting and assigning matters received through alternate reporting channels, generating reports and conducting routine account maintenance. Maintain library of current and historical legal compliance policies, communicate policies as needed, serve as primary point of contact for policies as assigned. Assess and update (as needed) information on Ethics & Compliance web portals. Support special projects as needed.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate required from an ABA accredited institution. Must have 3-5 years of prior paralegal experience working in eLearning within a corporation or legal department. Multi-national and ethics experience a plus. Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office required. Must have experience with legal technology systems such as eLearning and case management. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including cross-cultural communication skills needed.
