Corporate Paralegal - Spanish Speaking Responsibilities: Perform legal research on UCC filings, judgments, liens and tax obligations. Providing legal input regarding financial business models. Become a partner in developing strategies to achieve company growth. Maintain quality standards on all projects and observes confidentiality of client and company matters. Assist in matters related to corporate governance/secretarial duties, real estate matters, risk management, legal support, etc. Work directly with company leaders to understand direction of each operating company and the customers we serve. Completion of risk analysis and full due diligence review on potential prospects and existing customers. Assistance with detecting and resolving issues involving account irregularities.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or combination equivalent education and experience totaling 5+ years. Paralegal certification a plus. Underwriting/Analysis background a plus. Expert written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish required. Billingual possessing knowledge pertaining to business acumen. Experience developing and implementing processes to support document controls and safeguards. Experience with corporate filings and UCC financing statements. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and corporate organizational documents. Experience analyzing corporate documents such as bylaws, articles and operating agreements. Ability to manage and coordinate various vendors of risk assessment products/technology. Ability to work closely with the General Counsel, Senior Paralegal, sales team, operations team and customers to keep all of them both apprised as to the progress of required documents. Ability to work and learn independently and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to organize and prioritize issues and workload while paying close attention to every detail. Flexible and able to adapt to constantly changing priorities. Highly motivated self-starter with outstanding organizational, writing, and communication skills. Ethical and objective while exercising independent judgment and initiative. Ability to develop working knowledge of a wide range of businesses operating in various countries.
