Cyber Security Engineer I (M) DUTIES: Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle. Validates system security requirements definition and analysis. Establishes system security designs. Implements security designs in hardware, software, data and procedures. Applies cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to an architectural framework. Performs security tool maintenance as required. Supports multi-disciplined teams, in the design and implementation of the cyber security system architecture. Provides architectural analyses of cyber security features and relates the existing system to future needs and trends. Provides broad based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and applies the experience to specific cyber security initiatives, relating to architectural design and development. Resolves architecture implementation issues during integration and test.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree; or 4 years of professional experience required with a related PhD or JD Degree ; or an MD. 5 years of experience working within an enterprise operations environment, with a focus on cyber security.
