Bilingual Paralegal Duties: Assist Attorneys with the preparation and filing of USCIS forms such as Form I-130, I-601A, I-601, I-485, I-131, I-765, and I-864, just to list a few. Meet with clients to complete forms, draft affidavits and provide case status information. Collect information and documentation from clients; Prepare draft filings to relevant federal and state agencies; Conduct research of immigration law and procedures; Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda; Enter case information into web-based case management INS Zoom system; Track the status of filings and inform the client of any follow up that may be necessary; Maintain confidentiality of client information; Immigration Court filings; and Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Associates or higher degree preferred. 1 year experience as an immigration paralegal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Solid work ethic, ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments and a desire to provide the very best in service to clients is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office application and has the ability to be well-versed in proofreading and time-management skills. Strong recommendations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
