Associate - HR and Employment The candidate must have 3+ years of law firm experience to work in the Human Resources and Employment Practice. Position will require a highly adaptable individual that can work on both advising and litigation matters. Typical advising matters would include: working with commercial clients on employee handbooks and policies, employment training and advising on hiring, leaves of absence, disciplinary and termination matters. Litigation assignments would include: working on employment disputes, restrictive covenants, including non-compete and non-solicitation restrictions, trade secret issues and confidentiality restrictions. Will also work on discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, breach of contract, compensation matters and violation of federal and state employment regulations. Should also have outstanding writing and oral advocacy skills.
