Patent Attorney Electrical Engineering/Computer Science- Mid Level Associate
The candidate will be reviewing technical invention disclosures, preparing for and participating in patent disclosure meetings with inventors, conducting patentability analysis, preparing and filing patent applications in high technology product development, prosecution of patent applications, in both the U.S. and foreign countries, and preparing office action responses, conducting patent landscape and freedom-to-operate searches, and assisting IP due diligence in financing and partnering transactions. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or similar is required. Should preferably have 3-5 years of experience in patent prep and prosecution work. State Bar admission (California bar preferred, but not required) and USPTO Bar admission is required.
