A law firm seeks a Transactional Associate to join its Bridgeport, CT office. This position is ideal for candidates with 1 to 4 years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law. The successful candidate will handle a range of transactional matters, including entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, commercial financing transactions, and real estate transactions. Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.

Duties

  • Assist in the formation of business entities and support mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to commercial transactions.
  • Manage real estate purchases, sales, and leasing agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare necessary documentation for transactions.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
