As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will have the opportunity to represent insured individuals and Allstate in the defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. You will also have the chance to prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct depositions and examinations under oath and prepare summary documents • Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, including expert witnesses • Keep claim business partners informed of case status and developments • Contact clients to discuss their case and answer any questions • Review new file assignments, documentary evidence, and approve initial pleadings • Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation when necessary • Draft post-trial motions • Try and/or arbitrate cases by preparing motions and summary documents • Conduct settlement/dispositive proceedings • Prepare and conduct court appearances Education: • Experience: • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred) This is a Field Home-Based Worker position, meaning your schedule will consist of time in the field as needed, travel for court, etc., and time working remotely from home. This provides you with greater flexibility, and you may be eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset internet and phone expenses. Qualification and Experience Juris Doctorate degree and member in good standing of NY State Bar
