Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate will work with various national and international clients and collaborate with lawyers across the firm's global platform. The role involves flexible working hours, active mentoring from experienced lawyers, and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Duties:

• Handle corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations involving Private Equity portfolio companies.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Provide high-quality legal services to clients.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements.
• Support senior attorneys in complex transactions and legal matters.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of private equity experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client and firm needs.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Pennsylvania or eligibility for admission.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or able to become licensed promptly).

Skills:

• Expertise in private equity transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
