Senior Tax Director - Controllership And Operations The candidate will be assuming full accountability for the consolidated GAAP reporting of income tax information, including management of the consolidated income tax provision process, income tax footnote disclosures, and reconciliation of income tax accounts. Will be driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the forecasting and provision processes by leveraging technology. Handling annual account reconciliation process. Quarterly and year-end reporting forecasting and reporting. Ensuring appropriately designed and executed SOX controls. Liaising with accounting policy and controllers groups to assess implications of present and proposed FASB and SEC pronouncements related to accounting for income taxes. Advising senior management on components of effective tax rate. Implementing and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, including providing technical guidance to domestic and non-US tax groups on US GAAP tax accounting issues. Developing and implementing metrics to measure quality and efficiency of processes. Providing management an oversight to the Tax Department staff, including mentoring, developing, assessing available resources both internally and from external service providers. Acting as the key point of contact and coordination with the Chief Accounting Officer, business controllers and other finance personnel. Managing interactions for internal and external audits of financial statements and internal controls. Supporting/interfacing with research and planning, reporting/provision and controversy functions, including maintenance of tax basis, earnings and profits, and foreign taxes. Forecasting effective tax rate and team with Finance on overall forecast. Forecasting estimated tax payment requirements and coordinate with Treasury and Finance on related cash flow planning. Developing individualized career development plans for all staff. Planning and researching to minimize taxes with absolute integrity. Assisting business units with advice on a variety of tax and business related items, including transactions (both intercompany and third party), contracts, reorganizations, and tax related accounting queries. Providing leadership and direction to tax organization. Performing other job-related duties as assigned. Must have High School Graduation / GED. Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience is required. Should have 12+ years of experience. Must have 6+ years of supervisor/Management Experience. Should have deep technical expertise in US federal and state corporate income taxation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other constituents are required. Should have public Accounting, Fortune, S&P 500 experience. Must have Master's - Accounting / Finance. LLM degree- Master of Laws is needed.
