We're looking for Senior Legal Department Administrator. The Senior Legal Department Administrator will be responsible for the undertaking of a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The Legal Assistant will provide clerical support directly to our legal team as well as information management support on company legal matters. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage paralegal processes related to contract preparation support, provide support for lawyers and contracts specialists on a range of commercial matters, maintain department documents and responsible for document storage, retention and production.
  • Process internal and external requests for legal documentation (e.g., subpoenas, e-discovery, HR-related matters, contracts, etc.) and create new documentation related to ministerial internal matters (regulatory, legal requests, etc.).
  • Assist in creating and streamlining legal department process for managing workflow, tracking of engagements and improving efficiency - acting as a catalyst for productivity.
  • Coordinating case preparation and other matters related to commercial litigation, regulatory processes, etc., including discovery, management of case documents and providing assistance to outside counsel.
  • Assists in reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and documents; coordinates preparation of charts, graphs, and preparing expense reports.
  • Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel.
  • Maintains client and company confidentiality
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Additional duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Expereince:

  • Associates' degree and/or Bachelor's degree preferred; paralegal or equivalent certification preferred
  • 2+ years paralegal or legal admin. Experience
  • Experience with document storage and retention processes preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in Salesforce preferred but not required
