Riverside Abstract a title insurance company servicing attorneys in the Real Estate Industry.

We are currently seeking a Paralegal with a background supporting Real Estate transactions. The knowledge you possess regarding all the nuances and complexities that go into buying, selling, and refinancing properties will come to good use in this position. This role supports the Real Estate Closing from a Title perspective , clearing any title issues with regard to liens and any other challenges to facilitate the closing.

In this role of Paralegal/ Title Coordinator , you are driven by the thrill of getting work done by critical deadlines. Communicating with multiple parties and bringing disparate information together to bring a successful closing to fruition. Most of all you get your thinking cap on every day and everyday will be a learning experience.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and conduct New York commercial and residential real estate closing transactions nationally with that require the ability to manage sophisticated title and closing issues.
• Collaborate with in house counsel and title insurance underwriters to underwrite complicated title issues and provide options to issue requested coverages.
• Review real estate documents and related closing documents for legal and escrow compliance.
• Effectively communicates with all parties involved in the transaction. Takes proactive approach to manage the process to insure a timely closing
• Communicate with clients and third parties to obtain documentation to clear title related issues.

Qualifications:

• An extreme thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Three years of work experience in the title industry with a firm understanding of the  various title insurance products and the coverages they offer,
• Ability to multitask and actually thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
