General Counsel The candidate will draft or review contracts and other legal documents or correspondence. Will oversee and collaborate with outside counsel on trademarks, patents, product liability and other legal matters. Develop and assess case strategies, conduct and manage interviews of fact and expert witnesses, and handle discovery requests and review court filings. Work closely with Human Resources regarding labor and employment law and government compliance. Maintain records required for legal matters and projects. Maintain corporate and shareholder records to support corporate activity. Draft correspondence related to shareholder activity. Routinely handle confidential work for the President and other executive management. Review and research potential acquisition candidates. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Must have a J.D. degree and 10 years of experience in product liability, government compliance, employment law, litigation, intellectual property and internal investigations.
