Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelors's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program with 6+ years of corporate paralegal experience. Corporate paralegal experience of 12+ years is a plus. Should preferably have 4+ years of in-house corporate paralegal experience at a public company. A licensed notary public is preferred. Must have outstanding writing skills and attention to detail along with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Should have the flexibility to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced non-environment. Must have the ability to communicate succinctly in writing and draft correspondence relating to business and legal matters. Intellectual curiosity and a willingness and desire to take on new challenges – identify a need and find and carry out a solution are required. Must be proficient with SEC filing software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
