Estate Planning Attorney The candidate will meet with clients to design, fund, and maintain estate plans. Will draft estate plan documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directed, and funding related documents. Review and summarize exiting estate planning documents, including making the appropriate recommendations regarding changes and additions, such as changes in law and family circumstances. Answer estate planning questions from clients and advisor teams. Serve as an in-house resource in estate planning to Wealth Management teams nationwide. Remain current with related estate, trust, and tax legislation nationwide. Support business development through leading presentations and thought leadership publications, as necessary. Manage legal assistants, paralegals and administrators, as assigned, as related to the overseeing day-to-day tasks, training, calendars, time management, coaching, and mentoring. Should have a J.D. degree and license to practice law in at least one state. An LL.M. degree is preferred. Should preferably also have 5+ years legal experience in estate planning. Ability to convey complex estate planning topics to clients is required.
