Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to calculates litigation costs, opens new case files and prepares needed documents. Should requests medical records, prepares and submits all e-filings in all courts and submits all WWCAIS and appeal filings. Drafts and answers Interrogatories and responds to requests for production of documents. Drafts Mediation statements, prepares case management and conference memos and monitors treatment of all clients in active cases. Coordinates law office activities such as subpoena delivery.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have high level of proficiency in Abacus and Office 365 with a proficiency in internet research activities. Must have Associate Degree or University degree from an accredited institution. Should have familiarity with document management software and should be a collaborative worker that takes initiative. Possesses ability to transcribe correspondence reports and legal docs. Should have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
