Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Will range from general office and secretarial duties, including answering phones, copying, mailing, faxing, emailing, filing, and data entry, to more (potentially) complex case involvement, including assisting in drafting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and otherwise contributing to the overall success of litigation. Given the Firmâ€™s intense case load spanning several fields, employment offers a unique growth and learning experience.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative relationships, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and be in firm possession of a decent sense of humor. Computer proficiency (particularly MS Office), attention to detail, willingness to learn, positive attitude, and drive to succeed are all essential. Spanish fluency is a plus.
