Paralegal Clerk
Requirements: Answer, screen and transfer telephone calls and/or take messages. Maintain a record of incoming and outgoing correspondence and action documents providing follow up to ensure a timely reply or action. Assist in the development of office procedures for handling various types of correspondence. Support in the proper handling of Congressional, White House, and DOE action/information mail. Assist with maintenance of subject matter files. Facilitate arrangements for meetings and conferences with attention given to attendees, space requirements, and time and coordinate travel and related expenses. Type, format, or edit routine memos or other reports correspondence/documents and prepare agenda and background material from rough drafts into final form making editorial changes, as deemed necessary. Manage special research projects including electronic searches of e-mail and other databases. Verify the accuracy of the information stored in electronic systems. Responsible for the correct punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and grammar of the material typed and for the proper placement of all typed material. Sort and deliver incoming mail and send outgoing mail. Schedule appointments and receive customers or visitors. Provide general information to staff, clients, or the public. Copy, file, and update paper and electronic documents. Prepare and process bills and other office documents. Collect information and perform data entry. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office to include SharePoint, Word, and Excel. Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exemplary customer service skills. Ability to work independently, under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliverables. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least three years of administrative support experience. At least two years of management consulting and Federal Government experience a plus.
