Attorney The candidate advises staff on legal matters, including the interpretation and application of agency regulations, and state and federal laws; researches state and federal laws and regulations; drafts legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing; researches, analyzes, and drafts administrative rules, orders, pleadings, and other documents; assists the Attorney General's office in preparing cases for litigation; and performs other duties as assigned. Must have Graduation from an accredited law school with a JD degree or LL.B degree. Law clerk experience can be counted toward the legal experience. Must have a license to practice law in the State of Texas, Should have 3 years of legal experience. Experience with insurance, auditing, finance or accounting background, insurance or administrative law preferred.
