Summer Legal Intern - Unpaid Student Intern The candidate will provide students with an opportunity to gain substantive legal experience in the areas of internal investigations, labor and employment law, criminal law and procedure, governmental oversight, governmental ethics, and compliance. Must be a candidate for a Juris Doctorate degree at an accredited law school. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale or a 3.75 on a 5.0 grading scale. Prior professional experience in government, law, law enforcement, or compliance is desirable. Will assist OIG attorneys in a wide range of legal projects related to OIG criminal and administrative investigations, audit and program reviews, and other special projects. Interns will perform legal research and draft legal memoranda. Application deadline: April 1, 2018.
