A law firm seeks a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their Denver, CO location.

 

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation, and providing counsel to clients on ongoing matters.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, focusing on patent and/or trade secret disputes.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client counseling.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and client advisories.
  • Participate actively in all stages of the litigation process, from discovery to trial preparation.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and manage client relationships.
  • Provide legal guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to a State Bar is required.
  • Strong academic background in law and undergraduate studies.
  • Preferred undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property matters, specifically in patent and/or trade secret litigation.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, leadership skills, and willingness to take on increased responsibility.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and business principles relevant to intellectual property cases.

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to a State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Proven experience in intellectual property litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
