Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate duties will include: Greeting clients in a professional and friendly manner. Answering multiple phone lines. Communicating with outside parties, including other law offices and the courts. Transcribing letters and legal documents for the attorney. Preparation of client billing statements. Provide legal administrative support for trials, hearings, and depositions. Draft and file routine legal documents. Prepare routine legal documents and be familiar with the litigation and discovery process. Create and maintain case files. Copying/Scanning documents. Other duties as assigned. Should have 3 years of experience. Experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary is preferred. Must have familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system. Should be proficient computer and typing skills (.word, Adobe Acrobat Reader, excel, etc.).
