Project Leader Duties: Responsible for providing support to the Business Associate Process and to the Regulatory Alert Process/System within the Compliance Team. Responsible for the administrative functions related to company's relationship with their ASO (Administrative Services Only) clients. Provide a document that outlines the services agreed to between company and the client. If the client requests a non-standard agreement, both parties must come to a final agreement and that document is stored in the Contraxx system. Provide the administrative functions associated with the BAA (Business Associate Agreement) process. Provide administrative support to the Authors. Support BAA function. Attain working knowledge of Business Associate Agreement (BAA) compliance requirements. Work collaboratively with Business Units to ensure ASO groups have a BAA on file. Research and respond to inquiries received in ASO BAA shared mailbox. Log non-standard BAA requests on SharePoint site. Upload fully executed Business Associate Agreements to contracts database. Notify Privacy Office when non-standard BAA provisions have been negotiated. Validate BAA files for monthly metrics reporting. Assist with development of process workflows. Partner with sales and account management to prepare state specific BAA reports for local groups. Reconcile National group reports to BAA status. Review bills, regulations and state issued bulletins as to applicability for possible Regulatory Alerts (Compliance/legal Analysis). Create a document/record in Compliance 360. Enter information in preliminary fields such as title, subject and various dates. Send reports to authors in regard to pending alerts. Provide Administrative Support to the Regulatory Alert System.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: BS/BA degree in a related field; 3 years of experience as a member of a project team, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Good oral/written communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office software/products. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills a plus. Knowledge of basic legislative process or state regulatory experience. Research experience and the ability to make decisions based on research findings. Paralegal background or similar experience a plus.
