Paralegal Candidate will work in both litigation and Social Security/long-term disability practices. Duties include initial and ongoing phone contact with prospective and established disability clients, written follow-up and in-person client contact in the office, post-hearing contact with clients and the Social Security Administration, document handling and preparation of exhibits for trials and arbitrations. Involves significant client contact, including dealing with clients who have physical and/or mental disabilities, it requires the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people of all walks of life, as well as compassion and patience while maintaining professional detachment. Must also be highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office and have a desire and willingness to work as part of a team.
