Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities: Spends majority of time on the telephone engaging prospective students in discussion about enrollment eligibility and their future with the goal of ensuring the prospective students understand the effects of their adverse criminal background checks and adverse drug tests. Responsible for managing and updating computerized prospective student database with records of communications to the prospective students. Documents and prepares student background check appeal submissions for distribution to the Background Check Appeals Committee. Assists with the management of the background check information tracking systems for the background check process and ensures the data is accurate and current. Assists with the creation of student file documentation related to the various stages of the criminal background check process and ensures it is accurately maintained by the legal department and distributed to the appropriate campus and division personnel. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelorâ€™s degree required in criminal justice, paralegal, communications, or other related field. Ideal external candidates should have 1 to 2 years professional work experience in a business or office setting preferably from a customer service background. Ideal internal candidates should have background in admissions or student advising. Demonstrated proficiency using MS Excel and MS Word. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills especially in the telephone medium. Ability to critically think, analyze data, and generate conclusions logically. Ability to work well independently, but also contribute to a team. Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
