Attorney Advocate The candidate under general supervision, this position is responsible for playing a partner role in managing the network of 13,000+ attorneys. On a daily basis, this person builds relationships with the Network, assists with day to day network administration, investigates issues, and assists with provider event planning and projects to ensure attorney satisfaction and overall company profitability. Assesses, interprets, and responds to attorney inquiries regarding coverage, policy limits, claims payments, profile enhancements, process matters, etc. Reviews, evaluates and updates profile and performance information on network attorneys in the Provider Configurator system. Assists Attorney Relations management and staff in coordinating and maintaining 13,000+ attorney credentials for continued admittance in the network by individually re-certifying and reviewing each profile on an annual basis. Supports the Attorney Experience Manager in the implementation of departmental goals and objectives while providing regular updates to appropriate parties. Assists the Attorney Experience Manager in the development and testing of technical applications that directly impart the network attorneys (I.E. network attorney website, Provider Configurator). Helps to both write and review marketing materials for network attorneys such as letters, articles, web content, etc. Supports and assists with annual event planning for network attorney events including, to, attorney office visits, workshops, conferences, and internal meetings. This requires attendance at off-site, out of state events with the Attorney Relations Manager or other Provider Relations staff. Under supervision, may assist with escalated calls from external departments (I.E. Customer Care, Client Management, etc.) with attorneys where high level investigation may be needed. Assists in the investigation of attorney complaints and makes recommendation to appropriate parties regarding resolution. Discusses trending related professional services protocol recommendations with the Attorney Experience Manager to make improvements where appropriate. Serves as a positive role model by representing the ARAG Values.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree preferred. Must have 3-5 years of administrative or customer support experience. Should have knowledge of policy provisions as related to review of coverage, limits, etc. Must have knowledge of applicable privacy laws. Must have proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Office and MS Excel. Should have strong organization and planning skills; effective presentation skills preferred.
