IP Specialist/Legal Administrative Assistant
The candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of USPTO and PCT deadlines, rules and procedures. Should have experience managing large patent portfolios. Should have well rounded patent filing experience: US and PCT applications, response to office actions, Issue Fees,IDSs, etc. Duties Include: USPTO and PCT filings. Responding to daily and weekly dockets and maintaining your own backup calendar of deadlines. Reporting filings and incoming mail to clients. Maintaining client status spreadsheets. Interfacing with foreign agents. Responsible for billing 450 hours/year in Carpe Diem. Proficient in Legal Key,CompliGuard Flow, Carpe Diem, Document Management System, and Microsoft programs. Annually complete 8 hours of continued technical education through the firms training department. Opening new matters. Responsible for overseeing invoice payments/expenses/ reimbursements. Miscellaneous administration tasks. Should have 5+ years related experience.

Create more of a structure that encourages group thinking and participation, I felt it was lacking here.

Pros : I only left because of personal reasons, the pay was great and the people were smart and on task.
Cons : I felt in groups settings most of the time people were in it for themselves but not much else. It wasn't inviting.
