Counsel, Employment & Litigation - East Coast Duties: Work with dispersed legal and human resources teams to support broad spectrum of employment and litigation efforts. Will draft, review and revise employment-related documents. Will advise the human resources team on a variety of employment issues as well as internal inquiries unrelated to employment regarding potential disputes and dispute avoidance. Reviewing and responding to, claims, demand letters, and subpoenas related to employment and general litigation matters.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited U.S. Law School. Active admission to a State Bar. 4-6 years of experience in employment litigation. Experience must include significant time at a major law firm and in-house experience. Experience handling international employment issues. Must be able to understand and evaluate risk and provide practical guidance for a fast-paced company. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a â€œroll up your sleevesâ€ attitude, team-oriented mentality and a sense of humor. Must love business. Must be genuinely committed to our mission and eager to learn the details of business. Bonus Points â€“ Experience at or with any of the followingareas will be a bonus: Cybersecurity or other high-tech environment. Highly distributed work force. Start-up or small company. General commercial legal experience.
