ProfileSenior Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist with the management of a heavy litigation docket with an emphasis on disputes that encompasses the complete range of a litigation life cycle. Will manage the initial organization of a case and advising junior members of the department on best practices relating to the documents, workflow and the case team. Interact with internal departments and external vendors regarding technology issues, database customization and electronic productions. Serve as lead paralegal in document collection efforts. Delegate work to junior paralegals and supervising their activities. Lead projects relating to privilege and redaction logs. Serve as point person between case teams and paralegal team and coordinating activities of junior paralegals in accomplishing deposition and witness interview preparation goals. Leading paralegal team in gathering and preparing documents relevant to witnesses. Collect documents and data, conduct fact investigations and assist with witness interviews, coordinate and oversee document collections, and ensure appropriate handling of electronic discovery materials and compliance with legal discovery obligations. Facilitate orderly case administration and reporting through implementation of internal matter management tools and systems. Take the lead in working with attorneys and the Managing Attorney's Office in the preparation and filing of all court documents. Should have Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of litigation experience, including prior trial and large case management experience, preferred prior experince with intellectual property. Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and related software is needed. Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication are essential.
