Unpaid Spring Law Student Internships - Hearings Unit Law Clerks for organization's Administrative Judges in Washington, D.C.: Draft rulings on motions involving discovery disputes, evidentiary matters, and witnesses; draft summary judgment decisions and decisions following hearings. Conduct legal research on complex issues; prepare legal memoranda analyzing discrimination cases involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and EPA. Assist in settlement conferences, pre-hearing conferences, and hearings. Completion of two or more of the following courses: civil procedure, legal research and writing, evidence, trial practice is required. Excellent writing skills and interest in performing substantive legal work are required.
