The candidate work may involve coordinating, planning, assigning, supervising, training and reviewing the work of assigned attorneys. Draft motions and other filings related to bankruptcy. Attend hearings and court appearances on behalf of the law firm. Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately. Review legal documents for form and correctness. Prioritize and manage an assigned portfolio of work with great attention to detail. Perform quality control reviews of staff work. Proficiency in inputting and maintaining information into a case management system to ensure data integrity. Work with leadership in the development and implementation of procedures. A supervisory role may require attorney to monitor and enforce policy compliance through coaching and discipline, when necessary. Must be VA barred. 2 years creditors’ rights experience is required. Experience managing a team of attorneys and staff is a plus.
