Contract Administrator Duties: The candidate will develop and maintain the contract systems and processes overseen by the Finance and Admin department. Also, develop and manage Upstream’s contract management platform (Conga for Salesforce or CFS) to ensure a best-in-class end-user and administrative experience. Manage current contract lifecycles, including contract extensions, renewals, and terminations. Provide and track administration of contract obligations. Create standard contracts and manage associated approvals and processes, including standard redlines. Manage all administrative tasks including payment requests, signature requests, and reporting. CFS System Administration. Maintain an accurate library of contract records. Lead training and system support for end-users. Project manage and execute contract management platform feature implementation and maintenance, including assisting with Salesforce app integration. Resource and Knowledge Development: Develop tools to facilitate and support the growth of the organization, including training materials and resources customized to the various departments and roles within Upstream; work on special projects and workflow process improvements.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate should preferably have a JD or paralegal degree. Must have 2+ years of experience in contract administration. Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with contract management platforms, preferably Conga for Salesforce. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines required in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a passion for the mission of Upstream. Able to attend work-related in-person meetings and functions as needed. Confident and proactive self-starter able to take initiative and work well independently. Customer-service and solution-oriented mentality. Confidence working independently, exercising good judgment, and making informed decisions with limited direction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with external partners and internal employees. Demonstrates a high degree of adaptability to work in a rapidly-growing, post-start-up organization. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, building and maintaining positive, productive relationships with colleagues and external partners. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented approach.
