Associate Director, Legal Counsel The candidate will assist on multiple Delivery Network (DN) priorities including realigning existing entities, forming new operating companies, augmenting DN's capabilities through acquisitions that enhance the service offerings and other corporate and commercial matters which arise. Will advise on day-to-day matters including contracts, corporate governance, technology, privacy and data security, regulatory compliance and other issues which arise. Support transactions, entity set-ups and integration of new entities into the DN group. Manage DN's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in applicable jurisdictions and the company's global policies. Help develop and implement governance and operational policies and procedures, retain and manage external legal counsel on a global basis. Work on DN group and the company's network initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. equivalent degree with an active license to practice law and a member in good standing in the State of New York jurisdiction. Must have 7+ years of experience advising businesses on corporate and commercial matters gained at a major law firm and/or large in-house department (transactional and non-transactional). Should have substantial expertise in some of the following areas: corporate law and governance, contracts, privacy and data protection, technology and regulatory compliance. Cross-border experience is preferable. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to be clear and concise.
