Executive Compensation Attorney
Duties: Provide high quality legal services in the areas of executive compensation, equity administration, compensation and benefits programs, and related compliance and disclosure issues. Will be responsible for a broad range of work relating to executive compensation, equity, and compensation and benefits programs, working closely with a cross-functional team (HR, Legal, Tax, Finance, Payroll). Will: advise on executive and broad-based compensation plans and programs and related corporate governance and disclosure matters; assist with the preparation and review of materials for the Compensation Committee; provide legal advice to the Administrative Committee; responsible for the compensation disclosure items in connection with the annual proxy filing; and provide compensation & benefits legal support for M&A transactions.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree and strong academic background. 8+ years of experience as an executive compensation and benefits attorney with a national or global law firm and/or a public company. Prior in-house (public company) legal experience strongly preferred. Strong technical knowledge of relevant U.S. federal tax and securities laws is required. General familiarity with ERISA and tax-qualified plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities. A desire to work in a fast-paced, high demand team environment. Possess high level of integrity, judgment, and professionalism.
