Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be conducting and coordinating due diligence for land sales, purchases, leasing, development and financing. Will be coordinating with title companies and surveyors to obtain title commitments and surveys. Reviewing title and survey and preparing objection memos to same. Working closely with title companies to clear title and obtain final title policies. Preparing and filing memoranda of leases, easements and similar documents. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases and purchase agreements. Preparing amendments, extensions and termination notices for various transaction documents. Assisting with the administration of leases and purchase agreements and tracking key dates and deadlines. Preparing closing checklists and coordinating the closing process for various commercial real estate and financing transactions. A Bachelor's degree. Should have 1-3 years of real estate or corporate transactional experience, preferably in a large law firm setting or an in-house legal department. Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment is essential. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, priority setting and time management skills are needed.
