Temporary Staff Attorney, Education Law Project- Children and Families Practice The candidate will focus exclusively on education law. Will intake and interviewing of eligible clients in education law (discipline and special education). Provide full and effective legal representation to individuals, including representation. at domain and IEP meetings, and at due process and school expulsion hearings. Co-counsel with other attorneys and paralegals. Achieve and maintain knowledge of the applicable areas of law. Participate in complex and major litigation. Maintain proficiency with all equipment, computer hardware and software necessary. to perform the duties of the position. Other duties as assigned. Should have J.D. degree and be admitted to the Illinois Bar. Must have experience with special education and school discipline law and excellent research and writing skills. Highly developed organizational skill is essential. Term of Position: Start date mid-May 2019, end date July 15, 2019. Deadline: May 23,2019
