Management And Program Analyst (fraud Detection & National Security) - GS 9 – 11
The candidate will plan and/or conduct special studies. Develop, implement, and/or monitor management information systems. Analyze and interpret policy and regulatory decisions to develop program plans. Prepare and/or provide briefings and presentations on analytical findings and recommendations. Represent the organization at internal and external meetings.
GS-09: Must possess 1 year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to the GS-07 level in the federal government, that equipped with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Must have experience performing the following duties: 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-7 grade level providing assistance to higher graded analysts by developing background information for studies; Researching documents; compiling and charting statistical data; Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing information for incorporation into final reports: Carrying out specified portions or segments of specific projects and identifying and recommending solutions to problems.
OR
May substitute successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in an accredited college or university, or a J.D. OR L.L.B. degree for experience at the GS-9 grade level. Such education must demonstrate the skills needed to do the work. A course of study in business administration, public administration, or related fields is qualifying. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 36 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 2 years of full-time study requirement.
GS-11: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), qualify at the GS-11 level if possess 1 year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to the GS-09 level in the federal government, that equipped with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Must have experience performing the following duties: Conduct studies to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in program operations; Use analytical techniques and statistics to assess issues related to management processes, systems, and support programs
OR
May substitute successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in an accredited college or university, for experience at the GS-11 grade level. Such education must demonstrate the skills needed to do the work. A course of study in business administration, public administration, or related fields is qualifying. One year of fulltime graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study.
