ProfileAssistant United States Attorney (Criminal) The candidate will prosecute federal criminal cases in the District. Will advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, try criminal cases before the US District Court, and represent the US in criminal appeals before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Be capable of handling a variety of significant and complex criminal prosecutions. Should have a J.D. degree, be an active member in good standing of the Bar (any US jurisdiction), and have 3+ years of post-Bar admission experience in criminal law. Should preferably have strong academic credentials; superior legal research and writing skills; courtroom experience; and a demonstrated commitment to public service. Experience with automated research, electronic court filing, and various word-processing systems, including strong proficiency in MS Word, is required. Application Deadline: June 20, 2018.
