Employee Relations Investigator The candidate will be responsible for the execution and ownership of ER processes and practices, providing expert consultant and guidance to managers and employees. Work to deliver and ensure appropriate responses to any related employment issues that arise, while proactively supporting and maintaining a positive employment climate. Will provide guidance and mentoring to the ER Advisors in market, the ER Investigator will also provide market level oversight on ER activity to the market HR teams/ER Lead, identify trends and recommend appropriate solutions. Investigating workplace complaints of violations of policy for which failure to investigate might subject to serious legal or financial risk. Developing and applying knowledge of employment and discrimination laws, whistle-blowing laws, rules of evidence, and other laws pertaining to investigation plans, investigations, reports and recommendations. Managing Labor Union investigations. Conducting investigations surrounding labor union ensuring framework and processes around business engagement are established and followed appropriately. Contributing to the design of collective labor agreements and facilities agreement processes based on trends and analytically information. Responding to inquiries (via phone call/or email) from employees and managers regarding matters involving employment practices, policies, employment laws and compliance guidelines. Providing expert advice, guidance and counsel to managers, supervisors and HR colleagues on all ER issues, policy interpretation and questions to include such issues as conduct, capability (performance and sickness) re-organization, termination of employment, employee complaints and compliance issues. Working in collaboration with other HR COE’s and staff to provide relevant ER expertise in the execution of any initiatives or projects. Responding to employee issues and questions, providing feedback to managers to ensure appropriate action is taken where necessary. Working with ER peers, to ensure consistency of advice and guidance provided. Championing and promoting a positive climate, providing appropriate counsel and support to ensure that any ER processes are delivered to maximize the employee experience. ER Process Delivery. ER Tracking and Solutions. Training and education. ER Policies and Procedures. Must have 3+ years of ER or Human Resource related experience. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience in Human Resources. PHR/SPHR certificates are a plus. Should preferably have PBM industry experience. Should have Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of related professional work experience in combination with years of education. Master’s Degree or JD degree preferred.
