Mid-level Environmental Associate The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Must have 4-5 years of experience, ideally focusing on environmental, natural resources, and land use law. Status as an active member in good standing of the Bar in at least one state jurisdiction and, ability to obtain licensure in MA within 6 months of hire. Should preferably have significant litigation or regulatory experience, a clear interest in environmental law, and a strong academic background. Environmental litigation or experience advising on contaminated site cleanups or related regulatory compliance matters is a plus. Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental law statutes, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act required. Experience with or interest in zoning and land use permitting and/or litigation is a plus.
