Full Job Description

Towson AV rated estate and trust law firm seeks full or part-time administrative professional to work with the firm’s attorneys on firm administration and legal matters.

Firm administration responsibilities include:

Time and billing (currently Timeslips)

General bookkeeping – accounts payable & receivable management, escrow accounting

Client list, calendars, file and contact management system

Office supplies and equipment and vendor relationships

Legal responsibilities will include assisting attorneys with the preparation of estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives) and other related legal matters.

While law firm experience is not required, good organization and communication skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel & Outlook are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour

Financial Duties:

  • Handling cash
  • Invoicing customers
  • Processing payroll
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Generating financial and operational reports
  • Maintaining budgets and record expenses
  • Reconciling bank and credit accounts
  • Submitting and reconciling expense reports
  • Processing payments
