A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join its team in Hunt Valley, MD. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation defense, covering areas such as general liability, product liability, premises liability, and more.
• Write motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents to support case strategies.
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance, civil rights issues, and coverage matters.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including preparing for hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and ensure optimal client outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and discuss case progression.
• Maintain an organized caseload and meet critical deadlines.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
• 5+ years of experience in civil litigation defense.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft legal documents such as motions and legal briefs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.

Skills:
