Long Term Care Legal Assistant Duties: Work with clients’ financial institutions to properly inventory client assets. Prepare documents for the transfer or liquidations assets such as life insurance, annuities and other financial instruments Prepare affidavits and other legal documents. Set client-specific deadlines and follow up diligently for collection of information. Look for additional legal service opportunities which arise during the course of the relationship with the clients, and helps clients obtain them. Attend client follow up meetings and maintain close relations with clients during this process. Prepare weekly status reports.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: College graduation (Associates or Bachelors) desired OR an equivalent combination of experience and training. 1 year of relevant experience a plus. Must have MS Office experience, and be comfortable with computers. Office, bank, or data entry work history preferred. Experience with seniors and long term care (especially Ohio Medicaid) is a plus.
