A law firm seeks a dedicated Social Security Disability Attorney to advocate for clients pursuing Social Security disability benefits. This role involves representing clients in hearings and appeals before the Social Security Administration and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Social Security law, particularly with federal cases, and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered representation.

Duties

• Represent clients in Social Security disability hearings, appeals, and other legal proceedings before federal agencies and courts.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to Social Security law and federal regulations.
• Review and gather medical records and vocational evidence to strengthen client claims.
• Provide clear, accessible communication to clients regarding case updates and complex legal processes.
• Collaborate with legal team members to develop effective case strategies and improve workflows.
• Stay updated on changes in Social Security law and federal administrative procedures.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to educate individuals about Social Security benefits.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing Social Security law, with a focus on federal cases.
• Thorough understanding of Social Security regulations and federal administrative procedures.
• Admission to the bar in Florida or Georgia, with eligibility to practice before federal courts.
• Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• A client-focused mindset, with the ability to work empathetically with individuals navigating complex legal challenges.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and contribute as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida or Georgia.
• Eligible to practice before federal courts.
